Lanvin Mogul’s sound developed out of his combined love of all things afro and house and is equally at home in the late afternoon sundown session as it is in peak hour on packed dancefloors. It cuts across from lo-fi analogue dancefloor classics and afro (from the likes of Nubiyan Twist Frits Wentink and Toy Tonics crew) to the more hard-nosed business end of things (Black Loops George Fitz and Leon Vynehall). But more importantly Lanvin’s sound is one that will have you fishing out your slides tennis socks smoking jacket and nan’s daiquiri recipe ensuring we all end up dancing like our mums and dads. He currently runs The Jacuzzi Comedown radio show on Base Fm with his spiritual guide Marty P and plays out at private events across Auckland. He’s a Capricorn.
